She was able to gain experience in all aspects of dentistry, from working with very basic equipment on remote pacific islands; to fully-equipped clinics in higher economic areas of Auckland. She hopes to do more volunteer work both in NZ and overseas in the future.
Amna is passionate about helping her patients see the whole picture when it comes to their oral health so that they are able to make informed decisions about their dental care and treatment. Many of her patients (and colleagues) love her gentle and caring manner, and how she takes the time to make sure her patients are totally at ease with proceedings and with the treatment they receive.
